Blog
At the start of this year, I made a decision that felt both simple and bold: I chose to reset. I committed to a 30-day detox, not just for my body, but for my mind and spirit too. The first three days, I did a water and tea fast. It wasn’t easy, but it was intentional. It gave me space — space to breathe, to slow down, and to truly listen to myself without the noise of routine or distraction.
For the rest of the month, I nourished myself with fruits, fresh juices, salads, nuts, and seeds. Each day felt lighter than the one before. It wasn’t just about food — it was about focus. I spent time with my thoughts instead of running from them. I did light research, followed my curiosity, and let inspiration find me naturally. In that stillness, I wrote a few songs, and more importantly, I found myself in a really good headspace.
Now here we are in February, and I feel something stirring again — that creative pull, that quiet excitement that whispers it’s time. A few ideas have been piquing my interest lately: writing this blog, starting a new book, and stepping into the unknown with faith instead of fear. There’s something beautiful about not having every step mapped out. Sometimes the magic lives in simply saying yes before you know all the details.
Life is good. I am safe. I am sound. And I’m grateful.
What I feel most strongly right now is a shift in direction — a gentle nudge toward purpose. I want to journey deeper into the space of How can I help? Because when creativity meets service, something powerful happens. Words become bridges. Stories become light. And simple ideas can become seeds that grow in someone else’s life.
So this is me, showing up again. Writing again. Trusting again.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to begin something — this might be it. Start where you are. Use what you have. Follow what pulls at your spirit. You don’t have to see the whole path to take the first step.
Here’s to new chapters, open doors, and the courage to walk through them.
