Wednesday: Window Seats

There is something different about a window seat.

Whether it's on an airplane, a bus, a train, or inside a coffee shop, a window seat gives you a front-row view of life moving by.

You become an observer.

People rush to work. Families walk through parking lots. Someone loads groceries into a car. A child points excitedly at something only they can see.

For a few moments, strangers become stories.

You start wondering where they're headed. What kind of day they're having. Whether they're celebrating something, dealing with something difficult, or simply trying to make it through another Wednesday.

The truth is, we don't know.

Yet the curiosity remains.

Window seats have a way of slowing us down. They encourage us to pay attention to details that would otherwise pass unnoticed.

Maybe that's why so many people prefer them.

It's not always about the view itself. It's about perspective.

When you're looking out a window, life feels bigger. You realize every person you see is carrying their own experiences, challenges, and dreams.

Their story is just as important to them as yours is to you.

That's a humbling thought.

The next time you find yourself near a window, take a moment to look outside. Not at your phone. Not at your schedule.

Just outside.

You may be surprised by how much there is to see.

Something to think about: What's the most memorable thing you've ever seen from a window seat?
